The premise was quite simple - Absolut Elyx did not want to keep building custom invitations for events. Instead they commissioned a tool that provided editable content fields and a selection of backgrounds. A user would be provided with a log in and then could enter the content details specific to their event. A visual representation of the final ticket version was shown and when the user was happy with the content, they could download a JPG version of the ticket ready for use.

On the backend, the form text data would be taken and combined with the chosen background image to create a JPG. Semi-transparent layers were added between the text and background image to provide sufficient contrast. The site admin had the option to add and remove background images as required. The final JPG would be available for a set time period, then removed to keep storage overheads down.
